You think to yourself how handy it is to have so much counter space, but next time, maybe fewer pots and pans would do the trick!

Heading back to the living room, the hardwood floor reminds you just how good it feels to be home. Your partner has already fallen asleep on the couch, likely thanks to the warmth of the fire. She heads upstairs to get ready for bed, while you take a quick detour to the main-floor powder room, leaving the upstairs bathroom for her. After all, upstairs, she can choose between a relaxing bath or a refreshing shower.

As you're climbing the stairs, she calls out, Don't forget to put the laundry in the dryer before coming up! Oh, right, you'd almost forgotten. Luckily, the laundry is on the main floor, so at least you won't hear it running all night.

It's so nice to wake up at home, with natural light pouring in through the three windows in the master bedroom. You grab a pair of slippers from your spacious walk-in closet and head downstairs to the basement. Today, you decide what to do with all that space! A huge bedroom for the little one? A gym? A home theater? Maybe all three? Because yes, it's possible.

In any case, it definitely won't be for storage, since there's already a large room down there, complete with a workshop and a cedar closet that brings back memories of Grandma Marie-Laure and that nostalgic scent of her home.
Then, whether you feel like walking, running, or biking to Saint-Jean or Longueuil, it's easy--you just step out through the backyard gate, and you're right on the bike path!
Here, everything is within walking distance: the grocery store, restaurants, shops, even the hardware store.

As for transportation, public transit is free for residents of Chambly, Richelieu, and Carignan. A five-minute walk takes you to the park-and-ride, with frequent departures to the REM in Brossard throughout the day.

Chambly is pure charm: the Basin, the Richelieu River, the Fort, festivals, microbreweries... Every moment here is an invitation to enjoy life.
